The Abdilda Tazhibaev Kyzylorda Regional Universal Scientific Library, under the Department of Culture, Archives, and Documentation of Kyzylorda Region, and the Institute of History of Kazakhstan and Central Asia signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation.
This document is aimed at preserving regional historical and cultural heritage, introducing it into scientific circulation, and developing partnership in the fields of education and enlightenment.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:
• identifying, studying, and publishing rare books and manuscripts related to regional history;
• digitizing the library’s collections and making them accessible to the academic community and the general public;
• organizing internships and research projects for young scholars, master’s students, and doctoral candidates;
• holding joint conferences, round tables, as well as literary and historical events;
• preparing and publishing academic articles, collections, and joint editions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Samat Zhumatay, General Director of the Institute of History of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as the leadership of the Kyzylorda Regional Library.
During the event, the parties emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation, noting that this agreement paves the way for comprehensive study of the region’s historical heritage, broader public access to archival and library resources, as well as the implementation of cultural and academic projects.
